The task

The task was to create an informational website for a clinic in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The main requirement was the ease of website administration by non-technical people. The additional challenge was the scheduling system. Users could choose a type of medical attention and get a list of appropriate doctors with their schedule and a button to book an appointment. 

Clinic’s website developement

I’ve decided to use WordPress as a CMS to fulfill the main requirement. After that, I’ve added a lot of custom elements to the system to fit the website’s niche. The scheduling system took some time to figure out, but I’ve managed to implement it according to the requirements and within the timeframe and budget. This system was based on WordPress ajax capabilities. I’ve also conducted a training session with the clinic’s staff to teach them how to use the system and administrate the website. Unfortunately, for some reason, the clinic took down the website some time ago.
