I am an open-minded and laser-focused team player developer who uses his knowledge to bring delightful experiences to web users. It all started four years ago when I heard about something called HTML and wanted to take a closer look at it. It took me some time to tame this mighty beast and acknowledge its power, but only after that could I understand that this was just the beginning. It’s been a long time since then. A lot has changed, as well as I have. It’s no longer straightforward HTML websites but huge web applications using dozens of different technologies, bringing profit to tens of thousands of people. That’s the path I’ve traveled so far, and the only thing that didn’t change is my understanding that this is just the beginning.
I use my knowledge and experience to design, create and maintain high-performant, visually pleasing, and business-appropriate websites and web applications with tens of thousands of customers. I am constantly learning new things, new ways to implement what has been already done, and improving in every way possible. I think of myself as a fast and determined learner and explorer. I believe the essential skill is learning fast on your own. In a world where information is abundant, your approach to that information is the key to success. That’s why I am open to even those positions where the tech stack differs from my current (if that is ok with the company).
I have two main directions in my work. I am proficient in both. The first is Full-Stack development with Node.js – primarily React/Next.js on the front-end and Express.js/Nest.js on the back-end. The second is Full-Stack development with WordPress CMS (and Woocommerce also). I’ve also had little experience with blockchain technologies, web3, and solidity programming language. My primary programming language is JavaScript, but I’ve been using TypeScript exclusively lately. As project management software, I primarily use YouTrack, and GitHub for git repositories hosting. I also have experience administrating Linux (Ubuntu and Debian) servers on Digital Ocean infrastructure. I won’t go into details here as it is irrelevant.
